The teddy bear of the "Aktion Teddybär e.V." in Vreden
The association donates its teddy bears to the rescue stations in the districts of Borken and Coesfeld in Münsterland, NRW. They are also donated to the towns of Dorsten, Dinslaken, Bottrop and, in future, Wesel. As comfort bears, the teddies travel in the ambulance in the event of an emergency and are handed over by the emergency paramedics to children who are injured, ill or otherwise involved. The teddy bears are intended to provide comfort and help children to cope better with the traumatic event

The Bärenherz Teddy for the Bärenherz Foundation
The Bärenherz children's hospice sponsored by the foundation relieves, accompanies and supports families in which a child has a life-shortening and incurable illness. "Bärenherz has given us back a piece of our quality of life," says one affected mother. She sums up what a children's hospice can be: a shelter that provides protection, security and safety for families with a seriously ill child. Here they find advice, qualified care, loving support, relief and comfort, from the diagnosis to the death of the child and beyond. The teddy bear is a special friend for all those who want to show solidarity and connect with a bear's heart.
